Vacancy: Property Manager

We are seeking a responsible, proactive, and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administration of a residential property. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, resident satisfaction, and effective coordination with service providers and the management committee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect daily operational systems and ensure proper functionality, including:
    • STP System
    • Water Motors
    • Gas Alarm System
    • Fire Panel System
    • Elevators
    • CCTV / Camera Systems
      Coordinate immediately with relevant parties to rectify any identified issues.
  • Supervise daily security operations and identify and address any concerns.
  • Ensure cleaning activities are carried out according to the approved daily cleaning schedule and inspect premises regularly.
  • Oversee maintenance activities, coordinate with external service providers, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and submit proposals to the committee for approval prior to execution.
  • Monitor maintenance work as per the scheduled maintenance plan and maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and servicing.
  • Record and verify monthly meter readings, accurately input data, and release information to the billing company. Review bills before issuing them to residents.
  • Follow up with residents on outstanding payments and take necessary actions to recover dues.
  • Maintain the building and surrounding environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and minimal inconvenience to residents and the public.
  • Attend to residents’ requests and concerns in line with apartment rules and regulations.
  • Manage Function Room facilities, maintain records, and collect relevant payments.
  • Ensure pest control activities are conducted as per schedule.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Provide facilities and support required by the Management Committee as requested.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Committee, seek guidance, and support the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Supervise and oversee the work of electricians and technical staff.
  • Keep the Treasurer informed of up-to-date third-party payment details and ensure timely settlement of payments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in property or facilities management (preferred)
  • Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple operational responsibilities efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes
  • Resident-focused with a problem-solving mindset
