Green Code
Architects is seeking progressive, professional Architects to join our
collaborative Colombo studio. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to
innovative, multidisciplinary projects across the residential, commercial, and
urban design sectors, while working closely with our international team based
in London.

Founded in London in
2017, Green Code Architects has grown into an international practice with a
thriving studio in Colombo. Our team of architects, designers, engineers, and
developers works across scales — from masterplans and large-scale developments to
interiors and crafted objects.
Driven by a passion for design excellence, innovation, materials, technology,
and sustainability, we thrive on collaboration with craftspeople, consultants,
universities, and clients to create spaces that are progressive, meaningful,
and enduring.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural concepts from feasibility through to detailed construction drawings within a collaborative, multidisciplinary framework.
Work with the design team to prepare presentations, visualisations, and technical documentation.
Model and coordinate architectural elements using Autodesk Revit as the primary design tool.
Ensure strict compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, and client specifications.
Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration with structural, MEP, and planning consultants.
Participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas that align with GCA’s progressive ethos.
Key Requirements
Revit proficiency at a high professional level (essential).
English language skills (reading, writing, speaking) at the highest professional standard, near-native level.
A recognised degree in Architecture (or equivalent international accreditation).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, Enscape, 3DS Max etc.
Strong design vision, technical accuracy, and clear communication skills.
Ability to produce precise technical drawings and 3D models.
Commitment to collaboration, adaptability, and learning within a structured system.
For foreign architects: willingness to relocate to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Familiarity with UK planning and building control standards is an advantage, as many of our projects are delivered to UK requirements.

Packages up to Rs. 500,000 (Sri Lankan Rupees), commensurate with experience and role level.
