* Position: Music Copyright Associate
*Location: Sri Lanka
Are you passionate about music, digital media, and copyright management?
Join our team as a Music Copyright Associate and help protect our clients’ creative assets while staying tuned to global music trends!
* Key Responsibilities:
*Identify YouTube videos featuring client assets and place accurate claims following YouTube guidelines.
* Ensure precise timestamping and adherence to frequently updated client-specific instructions.
* Address additional client-specific tasks and follow project requirements.
* Analyze assets for value and monitor claimable content.
* Conduct research on emerging trends and follow up with relevant insights.
*Stay updated on claiming strategies and industry/platform changes.
* Monitor personal revenue goals and track individual performance.
*Use specialized tools like Shazam, Jukebox, Claim Mate, Video Hunter, Transpose, etc., to enhance claim efficiency.
*Perform any other duties assigned by the management team.
*Requirements:
* GCE A/Ls or O/Ls with a certificate/diploma-level qualification.
* Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a corporate setting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially YouTube.
* Passion for watching YouTube videos and awareness of international pop culture.
* Proficient in Internet research, Google Trends, Sheets, and Docs.
* Excellent research and analytical skills.
* Prior musical experience or an exceptional musical ear is a plus!
* Must be based in Sri Lanka.
