Junior Lawyer
We are a dynamic team of Attorneys-at-Law engaged in Corporate Insolvency Winding-Up Proceedings, Loan Recovery Litigation, and related commercial legal work. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Junior Lawyer to join our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior lawyers with corporate insolvency and winding-up matters
- Draft legal documents, affidavits, motions, and correspondence
- Handle court appearances in District Courts, Commercial High Court, and Civil Courts
- Attend to Land Registry and Registrar of Companies (ROC) related work
- Support ongoing litigation and file management
Requirements:
- Qualified Attorney–At–Law with Notarial License to Practice in Judicial Zones in Colombo
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Legal Consulting
- Strong understanding of general Law principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Law and Minimum (02) Years Experience in Loan Recovery actions and Land Registry work
