About the role

We are hiring 2 Growth & Customer Success Interns to help GemVault reach customers, conduct demos, support users, and build relationships with gem merchants and gem companies.

This role combines marketing, sales, customer communication, product demos, field visits, onboarding, and customer support.

You will be helping customers understand GemVault, answer their questions, collect feedback, and make sure they successfully start using the platform.

Responsibilities

Find and contact potential customers

Follow up through WhatsApp, calls, email, and social media

Conduct product demos

Visit gem markets and business locations when required

Help customers sign up and get onboarded

Answer customer questions

Collect customer feedback

Report bugs, issues, and feature requests to the product team

Support social media and marketing activities

Help create content ideas based on customer problems

Maintain lead and customer follow-up records

Build strong relationships with business owners

Requirements

Strong communication skills

Sinhala and English required

Tamil is a plus

Comfortable speaking with business owners

Interested in startups, SaaS, marketing, sales, and customer success

Willing to visit gem markets in Sri Lanka and abroad if required

Must be responsible, organized, and proactive

Must have own phone

Own laptop is preferred

Internship details

Open positions: 2

Duration: 6 months

Type: Full-time internship

Work mode: Mainly remote

Field visits may be required

Preferred location: Sri Lanka, ideally close to Southern Province

Stipend: LKR 15,000 – 25,000/month

Field visit expenses will be covered separately

Office/meetup travel expenses are not covered

Can lead to a permanent role based on performance
