Job Description
FINANCE EXECUTIVE
We are a tea exporting company located at Kiribathgoda seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle daily accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Attend to tax matters including VAT, PAYE/APIT, WHT, and other statutory obligations.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, Inland Revenue Department, and other regulatory authorities.
- Support export-related financial documentation and payment follow-ups.Knowledge of the TIEP process will be an added advantage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Part qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA / AAT or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Sound knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the export or manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
