JOB DESCRIPTION – FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE
Company: Panda Sofa Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd
Location: Anuradhapura
Sales Areas: Medawachchiya, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, and Jaffna
Salary: Rs. 150,000+ per month, plus bike allowance and bata
1. Job Purpose
To develop and maintain the company's dealer and customer network, increase sofa and furniture sales, identify new business opportunities, and achieve assigned sales targets across the designated territories.
2. Key Responsibilities
Visit furniture dealers, retailers, distributors, and potential customers regularly within the assigned territory.
Promote and sell Panda Sofa products and achieve monthly sales targets.
Identify and develop new dealers and business opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and customers to improve customer satisfaction and repeat sales.
Introduce new products, promotional offers, and company sales campaigns to dealers.
Prepare daily visit plans and follow the approved field sales route.
Collect customer orders and coordinate with the sales office and factory to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
Follow up on outstanding customer payments and support the timely collection of receivables in accordance with company credit policies.
Monitor competitor activities, market prices, customer preferences, and market trends.
Prepare daily sales reports, dealer visit reports, order reports, and monthly performance summaries.
Identify customer complaints and coordinate with the relevant departments to resolve them promptly.
Maintain accurate customer records, dealer information, sales data, and market intelligence.
Ensure that company policies, pricing guidelines, credit limits, and sales procedures are followed.
Attend sales meetings and achieve sales objectives agreed upon with management.
3. Qualifications and Requirements
Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination.
Possession of a motorcycle and a valid motorcycle driving licence.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and travel throughout districts outside Anuradhapura.
Fluency in spoken Tamil is mandatory.
Age between 20 and 35 years, as specified in the recruitment advertisement.
Two years of sales experience is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of the local market and customer relationship management.
Basic computer literacy and the ability to prepare sales reports.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Field Sales Executive will be evaluated based on the following KPIs:
Monthly and annual sales target achievement.
New dealer and customer acquisition.
Sales revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Collection of outstanding payments and adherence to credit policies.
Number of productive dealer and customer visits.
Customer retention and satisfaction.
Accuracy and timely submission of sales reports.
Market coverage and development of new sales opportunities.
Achievement of sales collection and profitability targets.
5. Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary of Rs. 150,000 or above, subject to the company's remuneration structure.
Motorcycle allowance.
Bata (field travel allowance).
Sales-based commission.
Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and Employee Trust Fund (ETF) contributions, subject to applicable statutory requirements.

6. Reporting Line
The Field Sales Executive will report to the Sales Manager or another designated member of the sales management team.
