Contract Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension based on performance and business needs)

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and creative Junior Digital Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist to join our team on a 3-month project basis. You will be responsible for creating, designing, and publishing digital advertisements across multiple platforms, managing day-to-day posting schedules, and optimizing basic SEO elements for better reach.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ~2 years of hands-on experience who wants to take full ownership of digital campaigns in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design eye-catching static and simple motion graphics/ads (banners, social media posts, stories, reels thumbnails, Google display ads) using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma
- Write compelling ad copy and captions in English (Sinhala + English or English only, depending on campaign)
- Set up, launch, and monitor campaigns on Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn
- Schedule and publish organic social media content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Perform basic on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, alt text, keyword placement) for landing pages and blog posts when required
- Track campaign performance using platform analytics and Google Analytics; prepare simple weekly performance reports
- Manage ad budgets efficiently and flag when replenishment is needed
- Collaborate daily via Slack/Whatsapp/Zoom with the team for feedback and approvals
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and graphic design (agency, freelance, or in-house all welcome)
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media ads, banners, and creatives you have personally designed and launched
- Proven experience running paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (certifications are a big plus)
- Excellent skills in Canva and at least one professional tool (Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma)
- Good understanding of basic SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, Google Search Console)
- Fluent in written and spoken English (Sinhala/Tamil proficiency is an advantage for local campaigns
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
Nice-to-Haves
- Google Ads / Meta Blueprint certifications
- Experience with TikTok Ads or LinkedIn campaign manager
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Experience using tools like Later, Hootsuite, or Buffer for scheduling
