SFS Academy is a TVEC-registered institute, providing NVQ programs in Quantity Surveying, Draftsmanship, and Interior Designing.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD Lecturer located in the Western Province, Sri Lanka. The CAD Lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry-relevant lectures and workshops in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining course materials, assessing and supporting students’ progress, and staying updated with trends in CAD software and implementation in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other faculty for curriculum development and providing technical guidance to students.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, and related design tools
• Strong teaching and curriculum development skills tailored to technical and creative learners
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay updated on industry technologies and integrate them into teaching methods
• A minimum bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Previous teaching or training experience in CAD or related domains is an advantage
• Passion for educating and mentoring aspiring professionals
• Understanding of NVQ programs and industry qualifications is a plus
