Job Description
The Architectural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and technical documentation under the guidance of the project architect. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of architectural design principles, building regulations, and construction detailing to support the development of accurate and complete project drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Assist architects in developing concept designs, presentation drawings, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in design documents.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and filing systems in an organized manner.
- Conduct site measurements, prepare as-built drawings, and update design modifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations, CIDA standards, and company design guidelines.
- Support the preparation of BOQ drawings, working drawings, and approval submissions.
